    India win by 90 runs

They top the group and still go in to the harder group

It's England. I could bowl them out if I put on a turban and windmilled in.

    1829:

I hear what you are all saying and I agree with the sentiment of most of it, but I feel the tournament structure is partly to blame for England's reckless approach to batting today. Yes they were awful, but would Hales really have played such a carefree shot in a match of any consequence? Would the middle order really have tried to hit the ball out of the park rather than knuckling down for a few overs if qualification for the next stage had been at stake?

It doesn't make any sense to me that you can turn up at a tournament, beat Afghanistan and get through to the next round, but that's just my view. And the fact that this defeat doesn't even affect who we play in the group stage is truly bizarre.
    Spot on

Now that ive actually read what i copied and pasted, the spot on is to the 2nd paragraph

Well if the pitches are dry and slow for the remainder of the tournament, then yeah India have a chance. Not everyone is going to embarrassingly capitulate like England, though.

The format is awful, but that didn't impact England's batting. The team is full of bits and pieces hitters, kids and very few established batsmen.

    Ooo another corker.

Worst tournament in the history of fake sports?

    I think so.
