Isn't that a little like Theo, or at least the way he tries to be?If he's any good as that poacher we're in need of he'll be welcome though, wouldn't be difficult to make more of an impact than the last South American striker we signed though.

Skysports.com understands that Blackburn Rovers are ready to make a bid for Japanese superstar Keisuke Honda.

A host of clubs have been linked with the CSKA Moscow midfielder, with clubs in England, Italy, Spain and France all said to be keen.

But Rovers are now ready to try and make a move for the 25-year-old and are prepared to bid £12million for his signature.

Honda has been linked with a move away from Russia all summer and although he insists he is happy in Moscow, a move to one of Europe's top leagues is sure to appeal to the former VVV Venlo ace.

Skysports.com also understand that Arsenal could enter the race for his signature with Arsene Wenger believed to be an admirer.

Would sell at least 12M worth of shirts if we got him.

    Sign him up, Arsene.

    The King Is Back.

Baps? Got in to double figures in his one and only season here.

Wenger keeping Bendtner but not signing Baps

That Joel Campbell does look like a raw talent, if he comes I think that means curtains for Vela.

Campbell is a project, but he's worth gambling on IMHO, he looks super talented.

@Younggunsblog: ESPN Journalist Sergio Loredo says Denílson is due in São Paulo on Monday for talks over a transfer. Interesting.

ESPN Brazil reporting Arsenal have agreed to loan Denílson to São Paulo, and he'll arrive on Monday for further talks.

@DarrenArsenal1: Almunia seems to also be edging closer to leaving, may expect him to go next week. Very low fee in expected.
