Or maybe he runs 13.76 more atomically calibrated metres per match than any other player when played 4.36 metres wider. I think the fact it's not working shouldn't necessarily invalidate the theory. Also Gervinho losing the ball 99.938% of the time no matter where he is on the pitch must be offset against the fact he confuses the fuck out of everyone 100% of the time, so that's a 0.062% edge and razor margins like that can make the difference at the very top (which is where we aren't, but even so).

We play percentages at everything. Finances, signings, team selection, tactics. And 60% of the time it pays off. That 60% is enough to drive the share price 20% each year and returns CL footie 100% of the time. If only people could find the fundamental entertainment value in these facts and figures then we'd all be happy.

I think after the Norwich performance it's 100% certain that nothing has been learned.

Juventus are set to beat Arsenal to the signature of Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Llorente, 27, and then try to sign Gunners forward Theo Walcott, 23.
    Full story: Daily Mirror

Arsenal are planning to put winger Serge Gnabry, 17, into the first-team set-up should midfielder Theo Walcott, 23, leave the club in January.
    Full story: London Evening Standard
    Atletico Madrid?

Wtf? We need to buy a replacement. Not promote someone from the failed youth project

Should? Theo whining on about money and where he plays, Wenger leaving him on the bench. Anyway, Athletico Madrid can go and do one, they'll never have a balance sheet as glorious as ours!

You have to admit, Theo made the difference for us when coming on against West Ham because we were struggling in that game. I wasn't surprised at all about our performance against Norwich because our bad performances usually carry over to the next game.

He's made a difference a few times, but that won't stop him being next out the door and that won't stop our lot letting him go either. A cynic might suggest there's a pattern to these departures and they are taking place in a sequence that makes a lot of sense. If the trend continues Jack leaves in 2015. The 2014 departure is a bit of a riddle right now though. Cazorla to pass through on a fast track?
