Winning teams aren't just good teams, they are focussed and have a will to win, we don't and haven't had since the days of Vieira.

You don't fail to take your chances as often as we have through bad luck alone.
Never saw the Santi thing so bit hard to comment on it, but yeah he should have been disapointed, maybe its his way to deal with things, maybe in the dressing room he was more pissed.

Im not bothered about players not showing upset, if they are only going to underperform in the next game.

We will not win another major trophy under Wenger. Its a disgrace this man get £7million a year. Astonishing in fact. Its nothing to do with what players are or are not available to buy. As everyone on here acknowledges, we should have beaten Norwich whatever team we put out. Last night we didnt just lose - we didnt have a shot on goal. As someone who travels a lot on charitable work, I see Wenger as no different from the dictators who have been in power for 30 years and wont leave as they consider themselves to be irrepaceable. Meanwhils they do fuck all year after year apart from rape the cournty of funds.

Honestly, I despair with this guy, in 7 years he's won nothing and yet still maintains his teams can "win trophies". Once again the he praises the attitude and focus, it's been clear out attitude and focus has been poor recently and that this has been a problem for years.

The players won't show him he's right, they haven't for 7 years and never will, he can't see that as he's just blinkered, the facts are though that unless we start signing quality and replacing our best players with quality when they leave we'll never have a hope of winning anything.

Exactly, and who is that down to? Wenger. I just dont know how we ever won anything under that guy. The team is gutless season after season.

A player who is upset at losing will give more to make sure it doesn't happen again, players who aren't too bothered by losing are never going to win you trophies, you have to want something to get it, it won't just land on your lap.

I just don't think the attitude has been right for years, do you think the like of Vieira and co would have been smiling after losing games?

He happened to have strong willed winners when he arrived that did the job for him, he also managed to sign players who were leaders and were winners, at one point he abandoned everything that made him successful and did the opposite. The result is what we have today, it never made sense to me and despite the lack of success he's stuck with these policies, I just don't get it.

I wish someone would do a side by side comparison between his successful teams and the teams of recent years and point out all of the differences to him, to show him where he's been going wrong for so long.

But at the same time it doesn't mean we should neglect the cups and there is no excuse for our recent record. If we can win doubles then surely we should be able to win the FA Cup/League Cup along with CL qualification?

Have not seen the interview, kind of see what you mean though.

I agree we won't, everything about the way we approach the game is wrong, we expect and get everything we want without having to work for it and this is the result.

Despite the lack of success, Wenger continues to praise everything that happens and ignore the reality, this is just another example. He talks about good attitude and spirit and yet we show no sign of that on the pitch, he's just lying to himself and everyone else.

Rubbish, you can't call the likes of Henry/Paddy V/Dennis Berkamp Gutless. The invinvcibles where the best team in the league.

Like Zimm said in them days we signed quality players and in a way we have not moved so we have a bit more money to splay with. Also you could get a player like Toure for cheap who was quality.

Those cheap players are not quality these days and thats the diffrence.

To say you don't know how he ever won a trophy is silly.

wenger's one saving grace for me is that i know he loves and cares about this club deeply, the same however cannot be said about hill wood , kronke etc. i want them out and out now, look at hte way the two handle themselves, today wenger accepted blame and spoke well, hill wood insults us fans.

i want the board out, and wenger to stay, however, this doesnt mean i think he can do no wrong etc, he has made some serious mistakes and needs to sort the problems out fast but a new board, perhaps david dein, putting pressure on him, demanding explanations for everything might just make a difference instead of what we have now.

though i think the time for a new manager is close

Whatever you think of him, it's a nonsense to suggest Hill-Wood doesn't love the club.
