oh i agree completely. but my point is that wenger has bought it on himself. the media hated him for 'ruining the english national team and flooding england with foreigners' but at the time he was doing that we had one of the best teams england had ever seen. now when wenger takes the piss and rubs them up the wrong way he has a poor team to show for it, so they take full advantage of that.
the media are c*nts but they are just like everyone else- they support teams and have their agendas. the best way to shut them up is by winning but we dont do that. adds fuel to their fire.
Then he needs to look at his actions and how it's affecting his team (if he believes that, which he clearly doesn't).
I think he's lost a lot of respect from a lot of people due to his incessant denial about what actually happens, he use to be a man who was respected and whom people felt had integrity, now he's become a bit of a joke due to the fact he's doesn't live in the real world.
Didn't ever expect to win or even draw. The ref wasn't needed today but was there to secure a Utd win if we were in any way capable of being a threat. Would like to see us play well though. Get a few crosses in, win a few corners, a bit of pace, stretch their defence from time to time. Just an interesting and entertaining game would be okay.
Für eure Sicherheit
i dunno i think they do ask him those sort of questions, or at least they do much more than they used to. he just chooses to divert the question and talk about positive spirit, mental strength and the constant boner he has when it comes to developing players.
quite an art actually, to be able to chat so much shit yet keep the media half interested in a press conference/interview.
Seeing how we couldn't create much against Norwich and QPR with that team, did Wenger really think we'd do any better against Man Utd with the same set up? What's going through his head? Is he going to pick the exact same squad for Scalke away next week? What he think we'll suddenly click?
I've got no respect for him. Spineless, stubborn and stupid!
Wenger about Vermealen "Vermealen's mistake almost killed the game. Top class defenders never do mistakes"
harsh but actually spot on and complety justified
