They missed Chances thats their problem, maybe they have to work at things.

I never said anything about him not being disapointed they did not thrash us.
Well obviously, but I was simply pointing out the game wasn't close in anyway (other than the score)....highlighted by the fact Ferguson was disappointed despite winning.

Had it been close in any other way than the scoreline he wouldn't have been disappointed.

I was countering the points some people made about the game being close.

No one said the game was close . But we weren't outplayed either as many tend to claim . We were outplayed at Liverpool last season but because we won the game I don't believe you came with a comment such as the game was not close simply because we were victorious .

We were outplayed for most of the 90 to be fair - didn't even come close to looking like we'd get in the game.

Well we couldn't have been " outplayed " if we had taken our chances , could we ? The scoreline was the most important , I believe and it wasn't our way .

There were no chances, 2 shots on target came on 90+ MINUTES, united nullified us and were very happy for us to have the ball for spells during the game, sir twattington was probably annoyed that his team sat back and let us have it for a bit rather than trying to get more goals. You have to think a league loss on goal difference is still fresh in the mind.

And our manager before the game, on the 8-2 result:

"Honestly, it didn’t affect us," said Wenger. "It affected maybe more our environment. You feel humiliated after the game but after that, the next game when you win, you don’t focus on that.

"I think it’s when you lose a big game like that in the way we did it, it is to get over the hurdle in the next three weeks. Once you’ve got over that... well, the mood in the camp is always a consequence of the last result."
Really sends out the right message, doesn't it.

That should have been the only thing on his fucking mind on Saturday. Revenge for a humiliating defeat. And 100% desire to close the gap again between the two sides. Against our former rival scum.

    Insipid ****!
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.
