Like lawyers and politicians, they tear the shit out of each other when they are on stage but are drinking buddies when the curtain comes down. That's how it should be in sport, provided the other elements of sportsmanship exist too - which they don't. They are in their own world, separate to ours. It continues to prove they don't have any connection with us any more. We don't enter their thoughts unless they are doing the PR thing in front of a camera. Cynical bullshit the lot of it.
