Not many quotes but I hope this is true.
Zim's not the only one who's WUMMed recently (and tbf it's in response to blatant provocation). There is a group of people who pursue their agenda in every single thread on Arsenal FC debate, and will deliberately argue the exact opposite of what Zim's saying, combined with thinly veiled digs aimed at him and yet not directly addressed to him. It really does ruin debate on here, and yet they're never really called up on it.
Really strange for wumger to sat this tbh, he normally keeps this sort of stuff in house, when it comes to the players.Wenger himself admitted his claim the squad is tired has been rejected, saying: “We have been a bit jaded, even if that is not accepted by many players.”
"I really like Arsenal. Do you really like Arsenal, or only Arsenal with trophies?" - Dennis Bergkamp.
"Which Arsenal do they want back, the one Arsene created?" - Tony Adams.
Well the writer is just putting 2 and 2 together since 1) Wenger said: “We have been a bit jaded, even if that is not accepted by many players.”, and 2) 'Mikel Arteta last week revealed some *players had asked for extra training sessions, rather than more time off.'
I think it's all horseshit. I don't understand what the players would be looking for. If they don't want the tired excuse rolled out, inject some fucking energy and stop slowly tapping it around like mongs. Wenger's a penis for being weak and not standing up to his players, but ultimately, if you're not happy with how slow the game is going, do what Jack did yesterday and little bit burst forward and do something about it.
As for players being unhappy at being left out for the Bradford game - he's just chancing it. I think we'll see a mix of first-teamers in action anyway but as long as we win, I don't see what the harm is.
Things are never black and white however after 7 years you can form a pretty accurate picture of what's happening and can come to the sensible decision that change is needed. What change should we make, well there's only one thing that is realistically going to change and based on what we see happening that change will have a direct impact on events on the pitch.
I'm not interested in wumming, however you do get consumed by it after a while when people clearly post to have digs at what you're saying, I admit that I now do also get involved in it but it's more out of annoyance than anything else at constant comments made for the sake of disagreeing.
