Ah. Just seen your other post.![]()
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.
I dunno...I think KJH is a far superior finisher. Giroud has other qualities that are superior to KJH like his hold up play and aerial ability, though KJH is more mobile IMHO...both aren't particularly quick though.
Theo is gone IMHO, even if he sticks around for the season he'll go to one of the big 3 in the summer for free. What we should be more concerned about is who is going to replace Theo...probably will be an internal replacement, I mean when have we ever spent proper money on replacing players?
Giroud is not a natural finisher like KJH is, some of the chances he's blundered this season have been quite poor. I like Giroud and he is effective at what he does but we're struggling to score goals this year and another viable option would be good to have. People shouldn't get too bogged down with this perception that he doesn't do anything but score, he's not a playground goal hanger.
Besides if Saturday is anything to go by, we could be starting to get our creative flair back. Play Giroud with KJH and we could be on to something, in theory at least.

"I really like Arsenal. Do you really like Arsenal, or only Arsenal with trophies?" - Dennis Bergkamp.
"Which Arsenal do they want back, the one Arsene created?" - Tony Adams.
Who's going to supply them? Central Midfield is improving now that Jack is finding his feet and working well with Santi so that's one area. The Wings are a bit of a mess at the moment though.
When Theo goes we're screwed on the wings unless one of Poldi, Oxo or Gervais really step up.
