He's pretty much playing at the same level now anyway as when Vieira was 29. Arguably even better.

agreed, he dominates on both ends of the field and I would be inclined to say he is better than PV going forward. I hope Ivory Coast go all the way to the final so City are without him for quite some time.

I dunno, I don't think he is quite as athletic as Vieira was - in the sense Yaya can only do it two or three times in a game but when he does, it's usually devastating.

And yeah we won't play against Yaya, not that he has been that good against us when he has.

I agree with this actually and I think Vieira was able to get up and down the pitch alot quicker than Yaya. He can cover alot more ground IMO, I would still take PV over him but its close.
