RvP, Cesc, Nasri, all of them would have stayed if they had genuine ambition. Running off to the biggest clubs isn't ambition, it's the easy shortcut. Doing the hard things (admittedly close on impossible with Arsenal) is impressive, remarkable. So what if RvP wins a title with money bags Utd? Or lesbo picks up a trinket with some oil operation? That's unremarkable and unimpressive as Welles completely expected. Fact is, all of them shirked the challenge and pissed off to easy street. Certainly they made the right choices for them and certainly it's right for the fans that stay through thick and thin to berate them for abandoning ship.

Where's the challenge in staying with us, it'll be a miracle if we win anything....the manager isn't capable of producing a winning team anymore he's proved that.

Who want's to waste their entire career at a club that will never have a chance of winning under the current setup, you'd have to be a fool to do so.

Nothing wrong with abandoning sinking ship.

That's the one variable we have that no other (legitimate and serious) club has to tolerate. Our board and manager have no interest in winning anything. They say they want to win but their actions say the opposite. So I suppose on that basis it provides an excuse for the players who leave.

The captain is expected to be last in the lifeboats. Our captains throw the women and children overboard to secure their priority escape.

And they're also happy to charge the fans top money even though they have no intention of winning anything!

My dad has paid £125.15 to go and see the match vs hoofpool in a couple of weeks and that's just for a standard ticket!

It's Wumger's fault for choosing the wrong captain, not the players.

125 notes just to get in? Lol. Get a decent cigar, a decent malt, a curry and watch on tv. That way you can a,ways switch channel if the football starts to spoil you enjoyment.
