I was about to post the same. Load of sanctimonious bullshit... you could tell Thommo was getting more annoyed.

And I'd agree with Maccy with our PR as well, since our former PR man was as bad as anyone for negative PR. But Rodgers did come out and say it shouldn't have stood (or at the very least that it was handball), but I don't get why we need to be the ones to make an official apology given the countless other handball goals, or offside goals, or diving-to-win-a-penalty goals, and the link to the Plymouth-Yoevil game was tenuous at best.

Stelling was showing an incredible lack of understanding of not just football rules, but snooker and golf as well, which was impressive.

    Mbia has Beast Mode™ credentials.

They're perhaps the only credentials he has though.

It'll be worse for Suarez because not only is he a dirty, cheating foreigner infecting our game with his nefarious South American ways but because they have to try and wind up Thommo every show.

For the rest of the media, it's the first part.

    Ade.

Wins a corner out of a goalscoring opportunity.

Unsurprisingly Ade is well and truly hauled off, Dempsey on.

When Taarabt had his usual one good game every forty matches, there was talk of how Crooknapp had revived him and was the only man who could get the best out of him.

This talk seems to have evaporated.

And the fact that Crooknapp never gave him a chance when he got rid of him at Spurs.

He has overtaken Carroll as the premier defensive striker in the Barclays Premier League.

Still not quite on Ivanhoe's level yet though.
