That is exactly what is going to happen .The longer the deal with theo takes to be sorted out the less time to look at the transfer market.
I also would of thought that a club as big as arsenal have the manpower to look for targets and sign up players at the same time.What other reason can there be in the delay???

Firstly, signing Walcott does not excuse Arsenal from not signing a midfielder, hell, it doesn't even excuse us not signing a centre forward.
