Why does it hurt so much given that he did sweet FA for 7 out of his 8 years? He's a no mark player, he's just another Adebayor who did well for a period of time as you admit, but then buggered off. It's not like we lost a top quality player who gave us consistent service throughout his time here, that would hurt (like Tottenham losing Sol Campbell)
