I have been keeping track of the points totals and here is the latest comparisons following yesterday's matches. What is very interesting is the number of teams who are behind last season's points total. Only Chelsea are ahead of the total; this time last season, AVB was still in charge and look at his new team.

Disappointing for us to be behind last seasons total because we had a shocker at the start of last season. Man City no surprise, they were red hot last season...Spurs though AVB is sh*t.

Brendan Fraser at Liverpool has got it tough with only one recognised striker and bringing through kids so it's no surprise they're behind. I think Chelsea got really bad late November to January last season, so at this stage I think they were doing OK.

I am going to wait until 15 games have been played before putting the next full list of comparisons up, but I do want to note that after this set of games, there is not a single team of the 6 who are ahead of last season. Man U and Chelsea have the same number of points as last season; the rest are behind their totals.
