Yep i'm with you. I like Wanyama a lot, he would improve our team IMHO. I think he's already a very good player. Looks like Wanyama could be off to United though.
They are pretty much ramping up their interest in him which pretty much means we won't firm up our interest in him. Even if we do he's hardly likely to choose us over United.
I do get the impression Wenger does want to add to the squad but he's "dithering" as usual. Moreover I get the impression that he won't be overly fussed if he doesn't sign anybody.
Character building I'd say. From what Celtic supporting friends have said - they can't rate him highly enough and he keeps getting better. Saw him play against Barca in the CL and he did pretty well over both legs with a good goal too. Would be nice to have a DM option in our squad. He certainly looks like he doesn't get bullied off the ball very often.

Jimmy Kebe has just trolled everyone by tweeting he was joining Newcastle![]()
This want of fans to have a big hard bastard in midfield who provides physical steel is quite misplaced and silly, the current league leaders don't have one and haven't for a while nor do the top two teams in the world (Real & Barca).
I would be happy for Wanyama to join us if he's as good as people on here say he is, we'll see.
The King Is Back.
Anything but some Newcastle filth.
Wanyama actually has a bit of ability, unlike your standard athlete ball player.
This Wagamama guy is a beast. He'd be good to bring on if you're defending a lead. He's great in both boxes.
I agree that a DM is a bit out of place in today's football but Arsenal are very vulnerable at the back and very lazy at the front so an out and out DM might work for us.
