This is nothing short of a publicity stunt, don't worry for poor ole becks, he has made enough money to allow the next 5 generations of the Beckhams to lve in luxury. He will be paid a kings ransom by his sponsors and the image rights as well as all the merchandise with his brand beckham. He's not as stupid as we all think, he's an astute businessman and knows this short stint is is purely for public exposure and marketng himsef for his aftershaves or clothes line and his skanjy wife to mingle with the fashion moguls of Paris.
