Half time: Arsenal 0-2 Bayern Munich

It has been a tough opening 45 minutes for the boys as goals from Kroos and Muller have put Bayern on the front foot. Arsenal came back into it in the last 10 minutes of the half - so can they mount a thrilling second-half fightback?
Not an enviable job being the cheerleader for Arsenal on Facebook currently.

The balance sheet still looks positive so the bigwigs won't give a shit we're being embarrassed in Europe.

they have for a few seasons really.

remember how we used to want one of the 'smaller' teams in the knockout stages, porto and the like? we are one of those teams now that the big boys hope they are drawn with after the group stages.

Sadly, yes. We are the Ajax of current times, with less pretty football and a vastly superior bank balance.

Ajax were a much better team and won the CL...so we're not even that.

Ajax lite maybe, plus we don't produce anywhere near the amount of talent.

Dropping Giroud for no reason working out well again.

    It's self-sabotage.

At least Walcott would have got a run at Alaba a few times on the right and the ball would have stuck with Giroud more than once.
