This is Nigel Adkins' first game as Reading boss but I think he will already be well aware of what his team have and haven't got in terms of quality.
The Royals will rely a lot on their tremendous team spirit but I don't think it will be enough for them, even with the honeymoon period you get as a new manager.
Adkins will lift the players but I don't see it as being enough, especially against Arsenal.

We have the same news around Arsenal for the last 6-7 years. Out of all competitions by March, next season with some good signings we will be back, 1 trillion dollars in profits, Arsene Wenger has backing of board, Half the players are injured, Diaby and Rosicky get contract extensions. I see no new ill news at Arsenal. We have been ill for a while..
