It would have been stupid to let Nasri walk on a free and if Wenger was considering that then Kronke was right to check him. Our policy sucks when it comes to transfers but I would have been pissed if we allowed Nasri to walk on a free. He's not a vital key player or leader.

Nazree is a nothing player. Just another troublesome waster who'll spend the remainder of his career club hopping and turning up to play when the weather is good.

He really isn't. This is Santi's debut season and he's already on 12 goals and 12 assists. This a very weak Arsenal side and Santi should get better in time. He has too many moments where he drifts in and out of games but Nasri was just as bad and would coast or hide.

Nasri could be a great player but he's just too damn ugly. We were a great team when we had handsome players

Of course Nasri isn't better than Cazorla, but as much as we'd like to shit on Nasri for a good 'half a season', that half a season was pretty fucking spectacular. He was absolutely killing in at a Van Persie-esque levels. It's true he hasn't managed to find that since moving to Man City but that's because moving there was a stupid choice. Wenger might have ruined your lives but there's little doubt he is fantastic at turning promising young players into world class players. And Nasri's potential was/is incredible. I rated his natural talent a lot more than Cesc's when they were both here. Just a shame he pissed it all away by being blinded by cash.

potential is potential. we've all seen it a million times. having the strength of mind to turn that into something tangible is an entirely different ball game. thousands of kids win contracts based on potential. plenty of flash in the pan footballers have wonder seasons, never to be seen again. nasri managed to disappear at arsenal way before doing so at man city, alongside continually floundering at international level. only a blessed few have ever made a high level career to be remembered based on natural talent.

You could argue that in a weak Arsenal side there's more focus on him and therefore he'll get more time on the ball to score and assist (that's what tends to happen to the better players in a team).

People have pointed out he goes missing in big games when it's not so easy to stamp your authority.

I rate him incidentally, but don't know why we're comparing Nasri to Cazorla, Cazorla didn't come in to replace Nasri.
