But he’s playing in a really poor Arsenal side and this is his first season. But I think he has the potential to get better and because he hasn’t had much recognition in his career, I think he’s mature enough to stay focussed and get better.
Nasri hasn't had the best of seasons tbh but last season he was pretty good. Not at the level of how he was for us but he won a league medal at the end of the season so I wonder which season he prefers. He's been in and out f the team due to the major influx of players in that team and that hasn't helped whereas here he was pretty much a starter as he was our best midfielder even more so than the Barca ****. That helped him produce his best form as it would anyone. He is IMO a quality player already.

As for Cazorla, I hope he improves, of course I do but at his age, it's unlikely. He's hit a ceiling IMO of how good he can be and this is it. We might see another season or 2 like this then he will gradually lose his edge.

It's one of the reasons why I'd much rather have a Mata or a Hazard. 2 players we were strongly linked with but too cheap to get. Younger and already a level above Cazorla and will improve.

I think Cazorla can improve at his age. How old was Pires when he arrived? Some players get better with age.

One thing's for sure, Nasri's unprovoked comments have me somewhat commisserating for AW. Does seem he's been forced to sell his top players for profit. Since Kroenke's arrival, Wenger has never had money to buy players unless he sold first.

Blatantly obvious the way this profiteering bastard Kroenke goes around fleecing sporting outfits. He needs to GTFO our club NOW!

he wasn't forced to sell Cesc. It was Wenger who persuaded the board to sell Cesc at a lower price than what we wanted

Don’t be fooled. Nasri is trying to make out as if he didn’t want to leave Arsenal because Mancini has publically criticised him for his poor performances. He’s been kissing Wenger’s ass in the French press saying he’s the best coach he’s worked with just to get back at Mancini. If Kronke advised Wenger to sell then he was right to because it made no sense to let him walk on a free. Let’s not forget that detail. It would have been an utter shambles if he put in the sort of shitty performance we’re seeing from him now and then walking on a free to City.

Made no sense to keep him around after him moaning and feigning injury.

True but we didn't have to sell to Barca. There would have been plenty of other takers who'd have paid what we wanted

Not that I'm being fooled, but we pretty much became a selling club since the advent of one Stan Kroenke.

We've seen profits at the expense of success, and both have been and are still being treated as mutually exclusive. As I've posited before, it's a lazy short term approach ensuring quick turn around on owner investment.

    Fuck off Stan!

But isn't that where he was moaning his tits off to go?

Not so sure you can sell a player to a club they don't agree to go to.
