    Glorious result
    This.

Will we ever manage an easy win, not sure my heart can take this every season FFS
Society is now one polished horde

"After all, it was the Gunners’ goalkeeper who started the move that culminated in Thomas’ crowning glory. It was Lukic who, in injury time, decided to throw the ball out to Lee Dixon rather than lump it long..."

    on Arteta's substitution…
he is not alright, he pulled his calf so that could be a problem for Sunday. We don't know, we have to wait for 24 hours. He is a massive doubt for Sunday. He is very important, that is why i don't rule him out at the moment. maybe we will have to push Wilshere in [if he doesn't make it]. I don't know.

Nothing like a red eye game at home against bottom of league team to get the juices flowing. . .(shit if I was barely coherent during the first half, I was in a zone second!)

Good win. . .we march on to Sunday

Santi was awlsome. . .those that question him are not all there IMO (althoug we should all be forgiven for our faults, mine once being Gervinho!)

Reckon we all want 4th even though finishing lower may be the shck therapy we need but we need to stick it to the scum again and see if there is any truth in the free range BS we are being fed about who will come to us in the summer if we qualify for CL

Didn't start till about 11pm here so decided not to stay up.
Randomly woke up in the middle of the night so thought I'd check the score. Feared we'd cock it up so pleasantly surprised by what, in the end, was a comfortable win.
Feel a bit sorry for Wigan but you don't get relegated in just one game.

It would be Wenger's ultimate WUM to do all this and then we cock it up on the final day

We started off the game very well, got an early goal and it should have been plain sailing from there. The last 25 minutes of the first half was terrible though. Let Wigan back in to it and they deserved their goal even if it did come from a dodgy free kick given by a ****.

Chesney had to make a great save at the start of the 2nd half. Had that gone in, Wigan would be the ones celebrating an easy win. As shit as Chesney can be, he saved us there.

The 3rd goal in that match was the all important one. Whoever got it was going on to win. Fortunately it was us and after that it was comfortable.

Kind of annoying we were attacking the far end in the 2nd half when it's usually our end. We got turned around. Only ever seen it happen once before.

Our fans were brilliant and showed their class by applauding Wigan on to the pitch and off the pitch knowing they had gone down. Feel sorry for them. They try to play football the right way. Criminal the likes of Stoke are still in the league who can't make more than 3 consecutive passes in the final 3rd. Hope Wigan come back. Martinez should come home. Still makes me laugh Mancs went for David Moyes over genuine quality like Laudrup or Martinez but at least it gives us a chance to catch them.

Stayed after the final whistle for the first time ever to applaud our players off. As much as I criticise them and as much as they piss me off, I am a gooner and I do love the club.

Lets hope we get the job done on Sunday and maybe even get 3rd
