I think he's the type of player we can realistically buy. We can't get players like Cavani/Falcao/Ronaldo etc so we need to buy players who are very good with the potential to become great.
yes i have and wasnt overly impressed. But will admit i havent seen him play loads, just not been great when i have seen him.
quite frankly if giroud is getting slated for not taking his chances then why do we want someone that has a similar/worse strike rate? cos he has good touch?
i cant see anything in his game that would make me think it compensates for his lack of goals to justify that price tag IMHO

Is Jovetic even a striker? I thought he was an attacking midfielder? His stats aren't that bad if he's an AM.

yep he is. or is listed that way on Sky Sports. he played/plays up front for montenegro as well i think.
It looks like he's big and strong enough to play the target man but technically superior to what we have now. I’d have no complaints. The strike rate doesn’t look great but I think he’d get goals for us and really help others get goals too.
what about dzeko? proven in the prem as well. i rate him quite highly. surely he is quite a realistic target.
