The media is there to manipulate people ,especially if you are naif and more likely to believe any story . Laurent Koscielny story has been made up by the british media simply because he has proved them wrong . When he joined Arsenal , Koscielny was labelled as a joke signing . Now that he has developed into a real class defender they are trying to link him with other teams just to unsettle him and Arsenal .
Koscielny is french and spoke to the french media . He just said he was happy at Arsenal and Arsenal is a big team and shouldn't just compete for 4th spot . They should challenge for the title . He never said he wanted out .This story is not even in the headlines of french media .
I can perfectly speak and understand French and can confirm Koscielny statement has been twisted as usual .
DO NOT POSTPONE TODAY'S DUTY FOR TOMORROW .IT MAY BE TOO LATE .
He inappropriately responded to the baiting and fell into the web by admitting what he shouldn't be admitting publicly. It may be true behind closed doors, but he doesn't need to answer a reporter asking him what it would take for him to leave Arsenal. That part disrespects the club, and he could have avoided it more tactfully.

Football fans obsess about loyalty and 'true' love for their club but that doesn't exist anymore. If we sold everyone who would move to a bigger club if they had a chance, we would only have a handful of average players left.
Koscielny hasn't said much wrong if you look at everything he's said in the interview. If we want to keep our better players we need to win trophies, or at least show more ambition in the transfer market.
you shouldn't expect loyalty yet you should expect some sort of respect for the club with what you say in public. the comments about his 'affection' for the club should come as standard as a paid employee, so he gets no pats on the back for that. but the smart fucker wraps them around veiled ideas, such as "do the club really want me?". since when was that ever posed?
especially from a guy who had a very mixed season and who although can be a very good defender, has yet to show that for a consistently long period. a player wants 'ambition' or to move? then deal with it with your slimeball agent or many devious contacts within the game. don't come spilling out about buying players when you would be the first to cry, ala rooney, if we bought in your position. koscienly can fuck off.
you lot
kicking up a fuss over nothing
if he wants to go, fuck him. we lost van persie and still managed to do better the following year so as far as im concerned anyone who wants to fuck off please do so
but just to point something out, the questions that were asked were pretty direct and blunt. via arseblog:
- ‘Regarding your future, where will you play next season?’
- ‘Isn’t it gruelling to go through season after season without winning trophies? What could incite you to leave?’
- ‘PSG are on your case, have they been in touch?’
he's hardly going to cut away from the interview. he answered them honestly and the media decided to be selective on the 2 lines where he mentioned ambition and trophies.
What do you mean "if"?If we sold everyone who would move to a bigger club if they had a chance, we would only have a handful of average players left.
That's exactly what we've done isn't it?
