Don't want him under any circumstances. For the money it would take, we could either get far better in his position or significantly strengthen several other positions. Buying Rooney equates to pissing money down a drain.

He's a fat fuck, who smokes, and has been shit for a while. He doesn't score enough, he's ginger, costs too much, and is a ****.
No thanks.

He hasn't played in 18 months![]()
I'm fine with not signing Wazza because Higgy's probably more what we need. But make no mistake he is a genuinely world class, super super quality player. It would be a real statement of intent if we signed him. We couldn't do a lot better than Rooney because no such thing exists.
Higuain less of a creator, more of a netter. Nothing else will do now.

"After all, it was the Gunners’ goalkeeper who started the move that culminated in Thomas’ crowning glory. It was Lukic who, in injury time, decided to throw the ball out to Lee Dixon rather than lump it long..."
200 goals in 400 games. 50 in last 80. 4th highest ever man utd scorer. 6th highest ever in the prem and will finish in the top five, if not three. he's excellent in the prem. perfect for a team going for the title.
but we're not. and we can't afford him, plus we don't have a manager that could reign him in, so he should never (although he actually isn't at all anyway) be on his way to us.

exactly. plus he's a ****. and we need ****s. quite a few of em. proper ****s. not ones looking for get out clauses to escape the club. but ones who know how to bend the rules, wind everyone up and do anything to win.
any club seriously looking to win something needs their quota. we used to have 'em. now look.
He's had two blinding seasons when he was the focal point of the attack with very good players setting him up, not least howard webb and all those pens.
The rest of his apps v goals per season read quite similar to Giroud's first season here.
He has been a very good player, but he is not in the same class as RVP, who is the player we want to replace.
