Nah just the usual tutting, a few "typical" and a sudden swing to he was shit anyway and "Wenger fuck off to PSG and take Frites or Wedges or wtf the new Chaiman is called with you, bunch of useless wankers", we'll bring in Zamora and be happy that we signed somebody we'd heard off (mainly so we can tut for a bit longer).

Formed by two mighty tribes, the bores and the bored.

"After all, it was the Gunners’ goalkeeper who started the move that culminated in Thomas’ crowning glory. It was Lukic who, in injury time, decided to throw the ball out to Lee Dixon rather than lump it long..."

This worries me but doesn't surprise me if it's true. I'm not even sure what his preferred destination is, he's not really made noises about favouring either club if the lack of quotes in the media go by anything.

I just want us to get this one done, we absolutely cannot afford to dither on this one otherwise he'll be off to Juve.

In these instances, players tend to end up only where they want to end up. But one things for certain - Juventus are even stingier than we are. Doubt Juventus would've matched our wage offer and mega doubt they would've matched our reported transfer bid of £20m+. Not saying he won't go there - they are the Italian champions and a better club. But I think we've offered a better package to Madrid and Higgy.

Yep, I am with you. Juve are absolutely skint, I have no idea why they are even in the chase for him. Like you say, they have a very good team now and are a good striker away from being a credible CL challenger. Saying that, like you stated, I think we have offered Madrid more and Higgy bigger wages and could probably increase both offers assuming he's our no.1 target.

    The money is there.

When we sign Higuain, Rooney, Jovetic, Reina, Fellatio it will be a real sign of intent!

I reckon they are keeping juve in play to have some power in negotiations with us tbh.

He wouldn't have much to bargain with if they'd already laughed in juves face

Wow. That was a long sulk.
