Just like the Olympics Del Potro won it for Murray again
Just like the Olympics Del Potro won it for Murray again
Does it really matter?.....or is your only interest in patronising other members of this board, i don't think anyone can be in any doubt that Nole Djokovic didnt have his best game.....but as far as i'm concerned he didn't have his best game against Rafa Nadal at Roland Garros....loads of unforced errors complete with a complete evaporation in his final service game in the fifth set.....but i think it's ridiculous to suggest that a player wins a grand slam in straight sets and that it is undeserved.
Obviously you don't take into consideration that even unforced errors can be caused by your oponent....Murray attacked the Djokovic serve well the same way Del Potro did and it left the Serb resorting to serve volleying....he also showed a remarkable amount of resilience when he himself was playing to passive and being pushed back behind the baseline by the serb.....which led him to be broken in the 2nd set but then came in and showed agressiveness on the Djokovic serve.
Andy now British again
Society is now one polished horde
Formed by two mighty tribes, the bores and the bored.
"After all, it was the Gunners’ goalkeeper who started the move that culminated in Thomas’ crowning glory. It was Lukic who, in injury time, decided to throw the ball out to Lee Dixon rather than lump it long..."
Soares/Raymond take the first set 7-5.
Nestor/Mladenovic break and lead 2-1 in the second set.
And they have broken again, 4-1 in the second set.
Alessandro Nesta/Mladenovic takes the second set 6-2!
Bartoli is there for Mladenovic.
Cutting away from the deciding set to show Muzza's interview. Pretty poor tbf BBC.
