According to my source Arsenal are holding a meeting with Manchester City’s Gareth Barry tomorrow [Tuesday] in regards to the midfielder joining us.
I don’t have any more information than that other than when it was first rumoured that we were interested in Barry I sneered at the rumour for a number of reasons.
Of course, meeting him and signing him are two very different things but speaking to some Manchester City people they are of the mind that City want to shift Barry on so he is available.
Just what we would do with a 32 year old lumbering midfielder who is on Ł100k per week I have no clue.
