I cant see this being media BS - his father confirmed talks with Arsenal and I am sure had he just been trying to drum up additional interest Arsenal would have distanced themselves from any such quotes. It is a strange one though ill give you that! We find ourselves in this position all the time - I just dont understand why our transfer negotiations drag on and are always complicated. Every other club seems to be able to identify a player, agre a fee and get it done - simples
For all the frustration directed by the fans at the club (rightly so), there's a difference between mind games and outright lies. Obviously this bloke at Madrid is a grade 1 liar and has no problem with that. No wonder then it's difficult to deal with the scumbag.

Not quite right, the press confirmed his father confirmed talks with Arsenal, thus we don't know he confirmed talks at all.
If they were trying to drum up interest then they'd say Arsenal have bid x amount, telling us there's no bid isn't going to hurry anyone along.
This has been dragging on for ages as you say and apparently the fee had been agreed, contract had been agreed and he was ready to sign and was waiting for Ancelotti to ok it, which he apparently did. We've not heard a peep since and now Perez has come out and said no bid has been made and that they may decide to keep him.
Reckon this story is dead in the water, funnily enough papers are reporting the deal is in doubt todaythey've been caught out!
The board don't feel under pressure, same thing has happened for the last x years, this is nothing new.
If Real want Suarez then they'd bid for him, as for the bid...apparently it's BS as well as Liverpool deny receiving a bid for him.
