If we put in a £4mill bid for Parker it would be a done deal. He's not going to hang around in the lower leagues if he wants his England career to continue, moving to Arsenal and playing along side Wilshere sorts all that out nicely. £4mill, say £6mill even, for an England midfielder and the ideal player to add a bit of steel to the middle. Why isn't he here yet? The biggest fucking nobrainer transfer of the summer and it hasn't happened.

Hes quality and hes English. Wenger doesnt do either
We have Song and Frimpong is we need to go all Stoke. Why would we not want the England pairing in our midfield, for £4-6mill? We spent £15mill on a kid, we can't take a half price punt on a seasoned pro and England international?

Parker ain't going to QPR, but i agree it shows ambition after they got tonked they are trying to fix their problems i guess.

To be honest I thought nobody was interested! you're the first person to mention it. In regards to Arsenal, I have to agree that Wenger is paying the price for not addressing the problems that, as you say, everybody was pointing out for the past few years.
I think they are further away from winning the title now than they've ever been since they last won a trophy.
