They won't have had a full pre season with us and Wenger will use the "having to settle in" excuse when we are out f the title race by mid August.
Add the injuries and Cazorla not playing a game yet despite only playing 10 mins this summer, it's been a shocking season and we haven't even started it yet.
Thank fuck they haven't finished above us yet. They're not afraid to invest in players and if it wasn't for their rep, they'd attract more players and be willing to stump up the cash!I should imagine some of it is the profit from selling Bale.....and they will get a hefty profit, no doubt.
One of their owners is a fuckin rich dude, and a spurs fan ta boot, so I think they've always had cash.

I don't get the maths, Spurs spend around £50 Mill on transfer fees alone, not including the 3 players wages for the next 4 years, they have a smaller stadium, less sponsor money, less corporate facilities and they are building a new stadium? Fair play to Levy and the owner, they have sent a message of intent, and they haven't even sold bale to finance these deals. they have got steel balls. Unlike our tight arse fcuking wanker of a manager and and even pair of headless chickens in the boardroom. We have never ever purchased a player for over £15 mill yet our noisy neighbors have just put us to shame. Yes I am jealous, it feels like I have been buying Mondeo's every year and i know I earn more money then my neighbor, yet he has the audacity to go for it and buy a Mercedes!! Then these twas who run the club go in with stupid bid of 40 mill plus a quid to release the contract??? Are these people for real, do they think that Liverpool will sell the best striker in the league for a few quid??? If Cavani and Falcoa went for around 50 mill each, how do you think a club competing for the same glory as 4th place is going to give you the upper hand by giving away their best players, so fucking stupid.
