Actually i say we sold him, not sure there was an actual transfer fee involved we pretty much gave him to Barca to stop them reporting us to Fifa over Cesc Fabregas

Fair enough really....don't harbour the slightest ill will towards Gio.... and to be honest it's not like a) we missed him as we went through an entire season unbeaten after the summer we sold him or b) Barca wouldn't have beaten us without him in the side. It's interesting though how we played him as a central midfield yet at Barca he became a left back. Always played ok for us, never really remember him having a bad game but to be honest never really remember him having a spectacular game for us either.

Yeah, he was a decent enough player, gave it all while he was here, I just chuckled a bit seeing that on the site

Anelka is another one of those types of players, not so much because he was unspectacular when he was with us but because he's become a bit of a journeyman in the Premier League....us, liverpool, city, bolton, chelsea and now west brom.

Richard Wright, Matthew Upson, Jermaine Pennant...just not really players i associate with us that much

So lets say Arsene comes out of his coma and buys 3 or 4 players. Is it true only one of them can be named in our Champs Lge squad? So we can't offer Champs Lge football to any potential signings other than one?
