Was more thinking he's not barking mad so might be able to figure out a way to not underbid and automatically lose the player. If not Dein then how about the guy who went viral for wearing his trousers around his ankles? He's only a little insane.

Dein introduced Stan Kronke. If you have a problem with Stan, you have to question Dein’s judgement. He’s also introduced Usamov. Dein introduced both these characters to Arsenal and I can’t understand why he hasn’t been able to get them to work together, takeover Arsenal and invest in the team.

One has no interest in football and is happy to rake in the profit, the other is seemingly another Abramovich in waiting.

You mean looking for somewhere to launder his dirty money?

    Yeah, no thanks.

Some fans are deluded, this fan on Arsenalfan tv goes on about Usmanov being a fan and having a love for us that goes back to the 1980s, the only thing he's had since the 1980s is the same pair of glasses. Dein arguably created the situation by selling his shares to red and white holdings...the likes of fizman, bracewell-smith etc only sold their shares to Kroenke to fend off Usmanov.

But they seem like complete opposites and I can’t understand why Dein would bring Stan to the table if he had no interest in investing his own money. Or maybe Stan played him and never had any intention of investing. Seems to have fully embraced the Arsene Wenger way of doing things. Which also brings me on to Wenger and Dein’s relationship. If they’re still close, why isn’t Dein giving him feedback on the sorry state the club is in? Why isn’t he encouraging him to spend? Wenger has the ear and support of very powerful people and I just don’t get how he get himself into such a muddle.

Their signings have been good and have improved them but they haven't been title winning signings. Don't think Soldado is better than Giroud and certainly not in the same class as an RVP or Suarez, Paulhino and Capoue are decent but won't win you games when you're 1 - 0 down against Stoke on a cold winter night. Don't know much about Chaldi.

They, along with Pool, have definitely closed the gap to us (top four level) though if not completely overtaken us (remains to be seen). They'll definitely be challenging us again for that spot at the very minimum. We have the advantage of experience to grind out results when it matters and also Wenger who despite some of the views on here and some of the obvious flaws he has, is a good manager capable still great at extracting the near maximum out of any squad of players.

This is assuming they lose Bale mind you, if they keep him then honestly they may have a small shot at it.
Somebody here still thinks having Wenger as manager has its upsides. Even now!. Quick somebody call the nurse. ....Then, again, there are those who think Ramsey is Zidane incarnate and some who reckon Walcott win someday win the balon d'or.
    Allsorts...means more than just licorice.

Ramsey was hailed as the next Fabregas here...

Sadly the only thing he does now is run around.
