Apparently we wanted David Villa, offered 20 million Euros, but Barca didn't want to sell in Jan.
Barca , and David Villa himself, were waiitng for another bid from Wenger in the summer.. it didn't come.
He went to Atletico for 2.3 million euros

It was reported in Jan that we wouldn't bid again in the summer.
We looked in Jan realised they were never going to sell him as they were short of strikers and put in a bid.
