What about Juan Mata then. This is a wonderful little story and tells us a lot about the world we live in. Last night a French journalist tweeted that Juan Mata's dad - Juan Mata Senior - was at the Emirates to watch Arsenal take on Fenerbahce. This was picked up by BBC 5 Live and reported by them. By the end of the night, some Arsenal fans went to bed thinking that their club would sign the brilliant little Spaniard. What they probably didn't know was that the French journalist had deleted his tweet and moved on.

This, of course, doesn't mean that Mata Senior wasn't there. He could have been there. Does anyone know what he looks like? Did anyone spot him at the Emirates? Evidence please!

I wouldn't be surprised if Levy & Co are dragging their heels for the sole purpose of keeping him long enough to play against us then chucking him at Real Madrid on deadline day. They've already spent the money on bolstering the Team, so it's not as if they have to panic buy on the final day of the transfer window.

This also hinders us, as I don't see Real Madrid selling any of our alleged targets until this deal is done. :/

Maybe..possibly...we've left ourselves in such a delicate situation regarding Player recruitment, what makes it even worse if reports are to believed is that we're pinning our hopes on purchasing players from Real Madrid on the basis that they sign Bale and the players we are after actually want to come here?
