If we're going to spend 50-60 million just go and scupper the Bayern deal on Lewandowski. He is younger, on low wages, just as talented, and not a fuhking lunatic. A 50 million offer immediately gets Dortmund's attention he might want to put pressure on him to accept our offer. He might not change his mind but it's not impossible that he will and certainly more worthy of our time than the cannibal.

Benteke is just Ba 2, good strikers, but not quite top level, would be good for depth, but not consistent starters at a club like Arsenal

Benteke is much better than Ba IMHO, he's also a lot younger. There is room for improvement in Benteke IMHO, not Ba. If Benteke continues to develop he has the potential to turn into an Elite Striker IMHO.

Yeah that Barkley kid looks awesome. I thought he looked good towards the tail end of last season too, he had a great game against us at the Emirates.

I mentioned this in a thread a few weeks ago. But I'm afraid its the Rooney situation all over again, Wumger will sing his praises but do fuck all, the Mancs will buy him for £25 mill & we will offer £50 mill in a few years time if he's unhappy.

Barkley looks a good player I must admit although similar noises were being made about Rodwell once upon a time..... Barkley does have an equally good physique looks more mobile and has superior shooting ability so it will be interesting to see how he gets on.

Is he likely to get any playing time with the group we have here though in central midfield? Ramsey, Wilshere, Chamberlain, Ozil Arteta, Flamini, Rosicky...... and that is even without mentioning Cazorla who to be fair surely must stay on the left permanently now.....

i suppose Rosicky and Arteta might be the most vulnerable considering there age but it would really be a luxury signing unless something happens to wilshere. Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshere and Chamberlain all 24 or less. I am still amazed Real sold Ozil, he is much better than Modric or Di Maria... they are mental.

I think Barkley is a pretty good prospect but he needs to stay at Everton for now. I just hope he doesn't go to the young talent vacuum that is City/Chelsea.
