Well, they sold us their 2nd best player to buy a space chimp for twice as much.
Sounds pretty stupid to me.

Admittedly I haven't seen that much of Isco, but from what I have seen he looks like a great replacement for Ozil. He has bags of talent. Spain must have a factory somewhere making all these brilliant little CAMs. Obviously he's not at Ozils level yet but he's not that much of a step down either.
Real Madrid fans don't agree. They have no fuse for their dynamite.

Isco is a classy player and will oust one of the barcelona men sooner or later for Spain. However; Ozil is a better player all day long and real know that. as libk says though; they were under pressure to regain some of that 100m they sepent on monkey boy and we offered them something they couldnt turn down.
That header he scored was the first header he's scored in his professional football career

Norwich
Got Ozil'd.
Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Wayne Rooney told him that he should have signed Mesut Ozil after the 2010 World Cup.
The United striker informed the Scot of his viewpoint shortly after he had handed in a transfer request, having questioned the club's ambition in the process.
However, Ferguson has revealed that he told Rooney that it was "none of his business" who the club signed.
"My response was to ask Wayne: 'when have we not challenged for the League in the last 20 years?' How many European finals have we been to in the last three or four years?," he wrote in his autobiography. "I told him that to say we weren't ambitious was nonsense.
"Wayne said that we should have pursued Mesut Ozil, who had joined Real Madrid from Werder Bremen. My reply was that it was none of his business who we should have gone for. I told him it was his job to play and perform. My job was to pick the correct teams. And so far I had been getting it right."
I just hope Wenger told RVP the same thing. Minus the challenging for titles part and stuff.
