And with our squad with a danish half wit backing up our main striker.....the team we put out was always going to be powderpuff because we don't really have any strong defensive midfielders in the side with the exception of flamini and arteta both of whom are unavailable tonight.
It wasn't about Mourinho getting one over Wenger tactically it was simply about him having a better XI than us tonight.
The fact remains Arsene Wenger has never won a match against Mourinho which suggests some tactical superiority. Mourinho is very tactically astute, he's shown that many a time, Wenger isn't.

Again i don't agree Mourinho is that tactically astute, he is given a lot of money to spend to players that do a job by strangling the life out of the game....he has never been at any club long enough to build a lasting dynasty. I think any one with half a brain could build a side with physical midfielders and defence to contain the play and counter attack sides especially if they are given the cash to do it.
Don't get me wrong Wenger is too stubborn to have any tactical awareness, but Mourinho is not this genius that he is lauded as.

Jenkinson sadly is not up to the job.

He wins trophies, his teams are hard to beat, he's proven himself noone can question that now. Wenger has gone 8 years without so much as a tin pot trophy, there's no dynasty there either. Would rather he'd have left in 2005.

People might not like him, but his teams always have a certain quality about them, organised, work hard play for each other and hard to break down and beat. His substitutions have also proven to be very good over the years.
