I think we’ll wait until deadline day. Berbatov may be available but if we buy him, it practically ends our search for a striker. I think the scouts will and should work until they find a player that is top notch. If such player isn’t on the market…snap up Berbatov. It’s a short term deal and we can always try again in the summer.
Have to admit that I always liked Berbatov as a player, despite him having played for two of the most detestable clubs known to mankind. Lazy bastard he is, he's still one of those players that make the game seem so easy.
I'd have no aversion to him joining us, tbh, and sweetening the pot more by getting a few goals against the scum lot and mancfilth.
Sorry I don't want Sheldon Coopers evil twin brother coming to us
Anyway - no way does he fit into our "pass and move" philosophy, after "pass" he' s done!
Not really sure why Fulham will be happy to let go of their best player close to the end of the window? For a couple million? Their survival would be worth a lot more.....
[QUOTE=The Emirates Gallactico;361938]Bild reporting that Bayern are interested in Rosicky!

FFS, give him three years at once Wenger! Keep him at all costs.
If Bayern are offering good money for Rosicky I would take it. He's a good player but he's not the future. Have another clear out end of season with the likes of Bendtner, Miyachi, Jenkinson, - we won't buy anyone this transfer window so I would suggest that with these sales plus the £40 mill balance from last summer plus another years profits, we should have £100 mill + to spend. We have the World Cup as our window to buy Drexler, Vidal & Suarez/Agureo type striker.
Maybe so but we've done enough planning for tomorrow over the last several years....
I'd really be inclined to keep him and I think the fact the best team in Europe and arguably the best Bayern side of all time are interested in him at his age is indicative of the level he is still at.
He's important for us in the league and the CL. A rolls royce of a player.
Yep I'd keep him as well.
He's our longest serving player and a real good head to have around in the changing room. Plus he's pretty handy on the pitch as well even if he can't play all the time, but that just makes him very useful in terms of keeping things fresh and rotating. Give him a couple more years, he's earned it.
On Berba: He isn't their best player, well I mean he is on paper and their most talented but if he's not going to be performing to any level that's going to help them, little point in keeping him. Especially compounded if he wants to leave.
