I didn't even mention Arsenal, this is nothing like what we've done, he's not their best player and he doesn't play, we've never done the same thing I'm afraid.
You really need to listen to yourself.

I'm shocked that this move looks to be on the cards. I really hope it doesn't happen.
he's selling one of europes best players to direct rivals (maybe not this season but in the long run they still are) which will strengthen them. we've done the exact same as that. sold one of europes best players to our direct rivals which has strengthened them.
whats the difference? oh yes, one manager is one you love, the other is the manager of the club you claim to support
in the two seasons Mata was voted chelsea player of the year, they won the champions league, the fa cup and the europa league.
fairly impressive that, if he was voted their player of the year it probably means that everyone thought he was the main reason why they won those competitions so therefore he is very likely to have a similar impact at any club he plays in so he will strengthen united.
mourinho at madrid in three years won 2 trophies (3 if you include community shield), mata in two years at chelsea won 3 trophies. so mata in a worse team then the amazing mouirnho had at madrid won more trophies and was voted by everybody who watched that chelsea team to be their key player.
he will strengthen united, it doesn't matter if he is playing now or not, he strengthens them therefore that is mourinho strengthening a direct rival yet you still defend him, despite hammering wenger for the same thing
Did he get any awards (not ones given by his own club)? He was good but don't push it one player does not maketh a team.
You can cherry pick any combination of results, but fact is Mourinho has won a hatful and won trophies at every club he's been at, comparing a players record of winning trophies vs a managers is pointless, the manager has much more input than one player alone.
Yes he'll strengthen Man U, clearly Mourinho isn't worried, if he spends the 45 million and makes the Chelsea team better team by signing a player they need it will be a good move.

a hatfull? what the fuck are you drinking? he was at madrid and won 2. thats not a hatful, thats shit for a manager with one of the best players to ever play football in team then other players like ozil etc. chelsea cannot spend that 45 million due to FFP, they have to make a 3 million pound profit.
you could argue (not that you would) that in selling the judas, AW has actually strengthened the team, we look a better team right now, and are challenging for the title, which we only really did once with judas playing for us. your defence of what mourinho is doing, is just odd. he is strengthening a direct rival, its the worst crime in the world and wenger should be sacked when he did it yet it seems to be great plan from mourinho. you keep telling us you love fast pacey attacking football which is something mourinho doesn't do, he isn't a great manager i don't get your love in for him. he's done the same in selling mata to united as AW did with judas, yet one you hate, one you love. its odd
He won a hatful in his career. Sh*t manager, really? Have you seen what he's won, in addition manager's at Real haven't done particularly well, he did Ok.
As for the spending we'll see, you might find out you're wrong there when they do spend big on a player.
You couldn't have said that at the time as RVP was our top goalscorer and our main forward, he wasn't a bench player and looking at our position if we had him in the team right now we'd be even better as we clearly lack a top striker.
Like I said if Mourinho doesn't rate him and he hasn't played what's the logic behind keeping him if he can sell him and then replace him with something he thinks they need.
You keep comparing what we've done with what he's doing but there's two differences, firstly Mata isn't a regular and has had no influence on them this season since he doesn't play, secondly Chelsea will most likely reinvest this money on a top player, whereas we use to sit on it and buy someone unknown as a replacement.
I've not watched that much of Chelsea, but I've never said their football is great, however Mourinho has proven he wins, he's done it at every club, I have however commented on Man City's football as it's superior to everyone else's and the style the play in is my preference (I think we should play like this, just like we use to).
