Jose Mourinho's comments on Arsenal's favourable treatment by English football's fixture compilers receive a sharp response from Arsene Wenger. The Chelsea boss cited Arsenal's fixture list when responding to Wenger's views that the decision for The Blues to sell Juan Mata to Manchester United was unfair.
"It is simple - look at the fixtures and analyse it, I trust you will give an objective view," the Arsenal boss tells a news conference.

Having a three days rest to face Crystal Palace at home after just facing Fulham at home is not equal to playing Liverpool and then Chelsea away in the space of three days.
It was completely disgraceful that we had to play City on Saturday morning after arriving back from Napoli on Thursday. You're dreaming if you think the likes of Mourinho or Ferguson wouldn't be moaning about that.

The Arsenal boss is a long term admirer of the 27-year-oldb star, who has scored three goals in 13 league appearances this season.
Gourcuff is an alternative to Schalke's German star Julian Draxler who would cost considerably more, and is still injured for the next few weeks.

Gourcuff is a very good player to be fair, not a striker though. Wouldn't be against this as he is a quality player however.
Another Diaby would be ideal for us.

There is that yes, but I'd rather have him in than nothing at all as our squad will struggle badly as it stands, we got really tired in December and struggled and really looked unconvincing, come February/March that's only going to get worse.
We need 1 or 2 fresh faces to give us an edge and allow us to rotate a bit more.
