    Jonas - where were you when Arsenal fans were told that after years of fuck all we would finally be able to compete for the league - this came from our board of directors, not a fans forum.     We did it before the emirates aswell. Anyway, this club is one of the few rich clubs in the world with a healthy economy, not spending 50m+ every transfer window is probably a big part of that.

    No, its fans like me that will still have a club in the premier league to cheer for 50 years from now, when Chelsea, City, etc will be joining blackburn, portsmouth, wimbledon, leeds, etc.

    Spending money properly , eg improving the areas we need improving = more chance of winning something = more money coming in
