Some people as usual make ridiculous comments without even knowing the player and I bet they have never seen him play . Kim is actually a decent player with bags of experience . He has a nice shot , hard tackles and can read the game well .
To be fair , Wenger tried to sign some other players notably : Blaise Matuidi from PSG , Vucinic from Juve , Cisse from Newcastle , Klose, Julian Draxler from Schalke ..etc but it didn't work out .

Even the mighty Monaco ,who has unlimited funds for the transfer, couldn't find a player to replace the injured Falcao . They went for the ageing Berbatov .
Man United got Mata because they paid excessive money and Chelsea did not want him and could not have turn down such an amount .

Kallstrom isn't what we need. We should be looking to make a permanent signing not a loan deal, but ultimately we need a goal scorer and he isn't it.

Monaco don't need to buy another player to replace Falcao, because they will have Falcao back at some point, so a loan deal is a better option.

Man Utd paid a fair price for Mata. There is nothing wrong with his price for a player of his quality and from a 'rival team'

We are now a club which is stocked with midfielders and not much else.
