Would have played Gibbs personally. I can see Monreal getting pinned back by Sterling.

Monreal has been really good whenever he's played, I think he'll be fine.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
Monreal is far better than Gibbs offensively.
Defensively I've seen that he's more prone to be caught out of position.
But he's by no means a weak back-up, he's pretty good in his own right.
Gibbs aside it's probably the best lineup available at the moment. Suffering that injury really seems to have costed him.
Hope Podolski gets some decent time of the bench and gets a goal or something.
Yeah I definitely agree. Similar to how Gibbs couldn't be dropped when he was on that run since the start of the season you can't also drop Monreal either. He hasn't done anything wrong and it just wouldn't be fair to him.
Preview on Soccer Saturday in a minute.
I would have personally had Gibbs and Rosicky in ahead of Monreal & OX. Still in a strong line up though.
Liverpool's back 4 for this game is there for the taking.
agreed, apart from that it is a good side and can't fault wenger for the starting 11. Ox scored twice in the last game and Nacho hasn't really fucked up, so justified selection.
we really should score a few against this Liverpool defence, but we always make it hard for ourselves so here's hoping
