I didn't want to believe people moaning about Ozil the last couple of months but I'm slowly starting to agree with them.

I expect a fuckin lot more from a £42m playa, not to just turn up and be a passenger for an entire match!

I don't think he's sh*t, I just think we don't play the right way to make the most of his talents. He's basically a creative runner, our play is too slow and pretty much nullifies a lot of his talents.

This is something that has bothered me for a long time.

Last season, I had a seat near the benches for a few games. The contrast in activity between the Managers was astounding. There was nothing from Wenger at all. If he sends out a team and it works...great. But when it isn't working, we're pretty much fucked for that game.

I've been seeing it for years too and enough ex and current players have spoken of the "freedom" that wenger gives them, to go out and just play their game. this is a good thing when it works, like you said but there is quite a lot times players need direction/instructions, a tactical or even an almighty kick up the backside.

as upset as i am at the performance today, deep down it's the manager that i am really upset at and am strongly feeling he will not be the man to take us further because of these limitations. we have a good team, but i am feeling a little sorry for them today and worried about our future with wenger in charge.
