    ?

Rather not sign him tbf, only because of everything else that comes with him, but looks like he's on his way out if AC don't get CL

    What a pussy.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

    Fabianski confirms impending Arsenal exit
“I want to be number one in the club and in the Polish national team. I have learned a lot at London during very positive and challenging periods.

“With biggest respect to this great club, I didn’t accept the extension offer as I am looking forward to a new challenge in England or abroad.”
Only 28 so can still make a good run wherever he goes. All the best, he's never moaned about being on the bench to be fair to him.

    Sagna rejects a new deal:
Sagna is upset that Arsene Wenger and Arsenal did not approach him sooner about a new deal, leaving talks until his final year at the club - in sharp contrast to their approach to other stars.

Wenger has changed his rule for Sagna having previous only offered a one-year contract to his over 30s.

The deal on the table for Sagna - who is 31 on Friday - is two years, but still at his current salary of £60,000 a week.

But Sagna feels he deserves much more, especially as he has not had a single pay rise since signing an improved deal in the summer of 2008.

He wasn't crying because he was taken off it was because he was getting racist abuse from the Napoli fans.

Which was also why he was probably taken off.

They're just complete racist fucks over there.

I do hope we get Sagan tied down, he's still got a lot to offer.

It's looking very unlikely that we'll sort out Sagna's contract and that should set alarm bells ringing. The negotiation team still have a knack for rubbing the players the wrong way and making them consider their options. It's another reason why it's been hard to retain players and that trend will continue if we don't get this part right.

This is the bloody thing which is pissing me the fuck off.

You got Diaby, a crock of shit who hasn't played in ages, earning tons doing fuck all.

He should be put down, and his wages should be put towards Sagna's new deal. It's a joke. Sagna's been by far one of our most consistent players this season, and still has a lot to offer. He deserves an increase really, it's a joke.

Even then, the new puma money coming in, surely we can offer Sagan another £30k-£40k ?

Guys, it's all well and good but if we're going to sign 30 year olds on longer contracts then remember to refrain from calling them shit or asking why we have this crock at all once they put in a few bad games. Fullbacks are expected to get up and down the pitch relentlessly in the English game (unless they play for Fulham). Sagna on a longer and more expensive deal looks good right now while the defence is raped by Liverpool settled, but if we're going to spend some of those millions and billions come the summer Sagna may well become a backup anyway. There's more to it than just the contract.
