"After all, it was the Gunners’ goalkeeper who started the move that culminated in Thomas’ crowning glory. It was Lukic who, in injury time, decided to throw the ball out to Lee Dixon rather than lump it long..."
Balotelli is shit. Lots of talent, no character, gutless, stupid. He scores as many own goals as goals. Proper world class professional striker required not a waster like him.

I'm actually warming to the idea of Balotelli as an option? He's a risk, but he's also one of the few strikers around at the moment who looks like he's got some genuine flair about him, and who could be something a bit special, with a bit of refinement?
I'm not really sure I trust Wenger's ability to get the best out of players with serious motivational issues (like Arshavin), but for some reason I think he'd be a good manager / mentor for a fiery character like young Mario? Some fiery players need strict structure and disciple to get the best out of them, but others seem to bizarrely respond better to being given a position of trust and responsibility within a squad, and being made to feel like they're one of the leaders in the group instead of a liability who who everyone's waiting to slip up. I see some parallels with RVC, and the way he went from being a precocious-but-petulant wildcard to club captain and relentless goal-machine after being given a position if seniority and trust by the manager - it's just a suspicion, but I think Balotelli would really respond well to something similar?
Balotelli is awesome, still only 23 but starting to score goals for fun now, his talent can never be questioned it's just his temperament, but I think that will improve with age.
Wouldn't mind him here, he's a genuine matchwinner who can pull out strikes out of nowhere.
World Class in terms of his ability and what he can reach but I don't think you can say he has gone very far to fulfill that, yet.
He's 23 had a very good season for Man City where he scored a decent amount of goals, has 26 for Milan this season and was brilliant at the last World Cup, at his age that's not bad going to be honest.
He's not the finished article but at 23 he has plenty of time ahead of him as well.
Still not sold on Super Mario myself and think he would be too much of a gamble. In reality though, if Wenger signs a top class forward I would just be downright belatedly and bloody relieved.
