    Gibbs out for this.

    Sanogo too.

We go into this game with 9 players out. We're so used to it, it barely registers anymore. But this continues to be a ridiculous recurring phenomena. We go into every big every season with half the squad dead. There can't be any progress when a team is continually handicapped.

On the other hand, Bayern have their best player (Ribery) back and only one long-term injury (Badstuber).

Vermealen at left-back has never worked, so I hope he goes with Sagna there and Jenkinson at right-back. GHELkers hasn't let us down when called upon and played in this fixture last year too. There's little option for rotation elsewhere, so the front six will probably be the same, aside from Giroud coming in. The bench will probably include Ryo again and another kid. Maybe Hayden for defensive cover.

If we can't get the 0-3 (Ozil hat-trick), a honourable draw or narrow defeat wouldn't be too bad in terms of affecting the morale and momentum heading into the Spuds game.

    2-1 (Muller, Gotze, Giroud).

    Gibbs

He's not really up to being a sportsman, he should become a painter or a poet or something.

Sanogo is no loss. Gibbs? Is Monreal really as flaky as I think or is it my imagination?

Top of the league injury list again - and the players with no return date - Walcott; Wilshere; Diaby and now Sanogo - is depressing.

Monreal is dreadful against pace. We can't play him again against Bayern, Jenks would be a much better bet.

Ribery against Jenkinson is a scary thought! but then again Robben against Vermaelen is also scary. I fucking hate Robben.

Someone quote me on this, the Ox will give us an early lead (at least thats what i dreamt).

1-2. Ox and Koscielny. Ribery for them.

With no LB, we don't have much chance. If Vermaelen plays LB, then he'll get the piss taken out of him.
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.

As long as we avoid a drubbing, then i dont think this game will derail us or have much of an effect on the rest of the season.
