Messi is the best in the world, Ronaldo cannot get near him, esp when it comes to the big games. The pass for the pen on Neymar was out of this world! real were under no pressure at the time but a pass from Messi caused them all sorts of shit.

Difference between Ronaldo and Messi is that Messi looks like he's plauing in his local park, no pressure, just having fun taking the piss out of everyone where as Ronaldo is doing a job, working hard and putting a shift.

The Ronaldo / Messi debate is just for marketing and promotion purposes. Messi is on an entirely different level to Ronaldo and superior to him in every aspect of the game. Anyone who takes 5 minutes to look can see that.

But Neymar - how shit is he? I mean in terms of the hype? I'd rather have Giroud than that guy.

No one really knows how much Neymar really cost but he's potentially the most expensive player ever. Imagine that.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

Very surprising seeing as he comes from the cleanest and least financially corrupted nation in football, Brazil.

He hasnt justified the hype at all but i think he has a lot of potential and under a proper manager he'd cut out thise silly tricks and diving and can become a great player.

Very subjective, both great players but different, Ronaldo is big, fast strong and a great finisher, Messi is dimunitive and a great dribbler he's yet to do anything on the International stage however, whereas Ronaldo has performed there.

Your comments seem to be based on the fact you don't like Ronaldo IMO, based on what he's achieved in England and Spain and at International level I don't see how anyone can question him.

Ronaldo is a far more rounded player IMO as he can do it all, Messi is perhaps better at what he does best.

I don't like Messi either. Both are cheats.

I'm talking about talent. Messi is on another level. Yes, Ronaldo compensates with brute force.

    How do you define talent?

Ronaldo scores as many goal, can dribble, head, shoot, pass has pace and is strong and can take free kicks and penalties.

Messi, can dribble, shoot, pass and has vision and can take free kicks and penalties.

Both very talented but in different ways, I'm not sure you can compare their levels of talent as they are both supremely talented players but just in different ways.

Ronaldo has singlehandedly taken teams apart in the same way Messi has.

Think it just boils down to what style of play you prefer, as Messi is the poster boy for technical midgets while Ronaldo is the king of athlete ball.
