If Wenger is asked he'll obviously condemn it, but medically speaking it doesn't make any difference to fitness levels over a 15 year career that footballers have. Jack seems a bit chavy but it doesn't affect me. If Wenger picks him - and regardless of who we've signed, he will - he's happy with him and I look forward to seeing him play.
The good news is that Theo might be closer to playing than initially thought. It'd be great if he's ready for the start of the season along with Sanchez. Gives us a chance to attack with pace from the go.
He has to condemn it in public but I don’t think Wenger wants controversy around the club and he’s warned Jack once about protecting his rep. You can see it in his first statement. Health implications aside, Jack shouldn’t have been caught smoking again, even if he’s a big time smoker.
